between all the artwork i need to finish for school and this brand new purchase, i don’t expect to be sleeping much in the next couple days. but i’m sooooo not complaining.
i’m going to glue 1,000 cotton balls onto my body so i can finally become a cloud
literally finishing everything for the fanzine at the very last second, which comes as no surprise- it’s how i operate, i’m so sorry.
here’s my portrait as a child of Apollo for the back cover! i wanted to have some of my more sketchier work in the fanzine, because, let’s be honest, 80% of my artwork for PJO is like this- rough and pencil-y. also, i gave myself beads that equaled the number of years since i discovered the series. <3
sorry for the bad photos yikes
but these were my costumes this halloween! a lot of people asked, so here ya go. i’m actually really short, but i look tall next to my tiny friends??? (in the group costume, we took one pic without internet explorer cause she was late to the party)
omg i saw that post on burdge’s ask blog and i just
hahahaha this would probably happen
i’m not nearly as discreet as i think i am
a friend said she wanted to take a picture of me with one of my pieces (Halving the Compass) from my synopsis show last thursday and since i can’t take a normal picture…
(also the weird lighting takes away from this particular painting unfortunately, so it looks pretty different in person)
(ALSO still trying to reblog/answer everyone who was kind enough to wish me a happy birthday! so don’t get discouraged if you’ve posted something that i seem not to have noticed, it’s just taking a lot of time!)
everytime i join a new fandom i feel like im ripping my soul into another horcrux
when i was feeling down last night my roommate tried to cheer me up by grabbing an onion from our kitchen and taking a huge bite out of it
"I’m not where I need to be, but thank god I’m not where I used to be."
discovering that i like anime as an adult reminds me of when i found out i liked to read as a kid- you finish that first book and feel sad for only a split second, because then you realize there are like a million more books and that is so exciting
