I love going into the churches in Italy. Each and everyone is different and have a certain charm about them.

THINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR IN ROME/ITALY.
1. The public transportation: the worst I’ve ever had the experience of traveling with. The buses hardly ever arrive on time, sometimes never. The trains are usually late too.
2. Pickpockets: I haven’t had a problem with them really, but I’ve heard some horror stories. It’s good to have others around who can keep an extra eye on your bag. Keep your things close, carry a small bag, you know.
3. Gypsies: so persistent. I guess we can blame the economy, but people will try to sell you the most ridiculous things. They’ll hold something, like a flower, out to you, telling you it’s free, BUT IT’S NOT. As soon as you accept, they’ll insist you pay for it.
4. Italian men: they’re just really friendly. They’ll catcall and try to get your attention. Don’t let it bother you, they do it to everyone. You’ll hear “ciao bella” and “sexy” a lot if you’re a girl.
otherwise, i loved Italy. despite their lack of efficiency. c:

why there were armchairs on the side of the Via Antica beats me, but it was nice for a little rest before continuing our walk to the catacombs.
