I AM YOUR PERSONAL ART CHEERLEADER I LOVE ART FRIENDS
So like everyone else I read JK Rowling’s latest snippet on the quidditch world cup and that, combined with burdge's amazing sketches made me want to draw cutesy lovey dovey Teddy Lupin & Victoire Weasley !
Some of the new concept art, subtitle-less, from this video.
I ask the American commentators, please stop announcing that Landon Donovan is the “all-time U.S. leading goal scorer.” He is not. With 57 international goals, he’s not even in the Top Five. The all-time U.S. leading goal scorer is Abby Wambach, with 167 goals, followed by Mia Hamm (158), Kristine Lilly (130), Michelle Akers (105) and Tiffeny Milbrett (100). In fact, Abby Wambach is the all-time leading goal scorer in the world, among all soccer players, male or female. (via World Cup Soccer Stats Erase The Sport’s Most Dominant Players: Women)
A quick (tiny) drabble inspired by the Rita Skeeter article and Burdge’s Tedtoire post.
She’s sitting beneath the large oak tree at her Granny’s & Grandad’s house, humming along with the wireless, when Teddy rushes over and sits down beside her.
"Have you seen this?" he asks holding out the latest issue of the Daily Prophet, clearly upset.
She glances at the article his finger is pointing to and scoffs. “No. You know I don’t bother with her drivel.”
"Third paragraph from the end," he says shoving the paper into her hands. He runs a hand through his blue hair and looks agitatedly at the paper. Victoire rolls her eyes- what a drama queen- but finds the paragraph he’s instructed her to read. Oh, for the love of-
"You’re really in a tizzy about this?" she asks, trying not to laugh.
Teddy looks at her, his hair turning red and his eyes bugging out of his head. “You’re not? Gran is going to kill me when she reads it!”
Victoire laughs outright now. “Oh please- Teddy, your gran knows better than to believe Rita Skeeter. I’d be surprised if any of the family read it, quite honestly.”
She looks down and rereads the snippet of the article. “Lurking?” she says with a snort.
"This was all your idea- how come I’m the bad guy?"
"Hey, I’m not the "wild boy" with blue hair." She grabs his hand and pulls him closer. "You know, it would be ok if we told them. The world wouldn’t implode."
Teddy wrinkles his nose. “I don’t know about that. They would all make such a fuss we’d be fielding questions until we’re 100.”
Victoire smiles and kisses his nose. “At any rate, Rita’s got one thing right.”
"What’s that?" Teddy asks with an expression of outrage. Victoire smiles because no matter how hard he tries to be a hard-ass with his aloof attitude and his new undercut and his leather jacket in the middle of summer and that (extremely sexy) little hoop in his left ear, he’s still an absolute sweetheart who worries about what everyone thinks of him. She leans forward and touches her forehead to his, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Learning to breathe out of our ears would be seriously beneficial."

'You could've taken anyone!’ said Ron in disbelief over dinner. ‘Anyone! And you chose Loony Lovegood?’
'Don't call her that, Ron,' snapped Ginny, pausing behind Harry on her way to join friends. 'I'm really glad you're taking her, Harry, she's so excited.'
