Happy birthday Burdge! We’ve never talked, but I still wanted to give you something… I didn’t feel like I could do your OC’s justice so I hope it’s ok I didn’t draw them!
But I heard you ship Royai…
Actually your children versions of Roy and Riza are so perfect I absolutely love them! So anyways enough rambling, Happy birthday! (I’m sure it was amazing!)
AYYYYYYYY thank you SO much!!! i’m so glad you chose to draw royai, like absurdly so. this is awesome, both of them look so awesome. <333
For the lovely and inspiring Brigid on her birthday :) Or a couple of days after her birthday, anyway x] Sorry it’s so late!
Ack, sorry it’s all weird and sharp, my scanner did something REALLY odd to the light & resolution on it.
This is so bad Dx
Anyway, hope you like it, and hope you had a wonderful day!
i LOVE it, don’t be ridiculous lol. they look so lovely! and i actually really like the lighting on it? it fades out on the edges, but sharpens in to focus on their little moment- it works! thank you!!
Percy and Harry wish you the best birthday!
I know I’m super late and I know this is just a really lazy not so good sketch but I just really wanted to thank you, cause I did learn everything from you! and because I wouldn’t be drawing at all if it weren’t for you so THANK YOU
are you kidding?? i love it so much! thank you for this! <333
happy belated birthday!
thank you so much!! ahhhh they look so fantastic! i love your use of color. <3
i finally got around to answering this anon, and i really really really wanted to. even though it’s sloppy, i had fun. <3
it ended up a million times cheesier than how it started, i don’t know how i managed that.
Anonymous: how long did it take you to develop your style? im struggling myself and am curious.
It might sound weird, but If you’re struggling it’s a good thing.
If you’re not happy with your work it means you have High standards, great expectation for yourself and a critical eye. These are great motivators for improvement. You should dread the day you look at your work and think it’s perfect and doesn’t need changing. That’s the day you’ll stop pushing yourself to work harder and inevitably stop getting better.
A style change or inconstancy in your art means you’ve found a more preferable way of drawing something, so don’t fight it! It’s all about growth and development. I hope my style continues to change and evolve, I refuse to believe this is the best I can do. My style is hopefully nowhere near done developing.
Try every style! Every medium~! You don’t have to keep them but you might find something cool you want to infuse with your current style. Style is nothing to stress over, focus on making stuff look cool/creepy/pretty/whatever you’re into and having fun!
